pics: Overdrive cafe, Bloodstone

From Overdrive Cafe in Shimokitazawa,
Japanese-style tarako (small fish eggs) pasta, to which I am addicted

Their excellent lasagna

  1. Ew. Tarako. I just don't like fish eggs. Lasagna on the other hand...

  2. Hi! It's good to hear from you.

Heh, I woke up one day addicted to Tarako and mentaiko spaghetti :D

Lasagna is total comfort food! Need to learn to make it in a microwave.

  3. Is taroko like mentaiko spaghetti? I love that stuff; I'll get cravings for it sometimes. Rich tasting and satisfying without being really heavy (sometimes after eating lasagna you can just feel your arteries clogging up).

  4. Yup, tarako is like mentaiko - I'm unclear on the difference, but I think tarako isn't spicy.

    Rich but healthy food :)
