Why should someone else's religion dictate my health care? It doesn't make any sense.
And I do think there is a need for ethical evaluation of technological innovations, which includes medical advances, but this is distinct from moral judgements on what medical care should be provided. Ethics are distinct from morals.

Wait... in the land of shinto and agnostics, how is religion dictating your health care now?
Not that I disagree. It's been one of my arguments against a lot of the policies in the states. But what is this now?
Oh, it doesn't dictate my current healthcare. I'm just objecting to the healthcare policies in the U.S., since I am likely to return there.
